Monotones is a band from Shah Alam, Malaysia experimenting and taking inspiration from the 60s to the millennium garage rock and roll. Monotones sense the exploration of newness with a classic sound influenced by the likes from The Kinks, Rolling Stones to Mando Diao and The Rifles, as well as other greats from The Ventures to Franz Ferdinand.

Monotones was formed in 2019 by Azrul, Azizi, Fahmi, Mey and Que. The group has been performing together at local events throughout Malaysia including Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Melaka and JB. Since then they have continued to support each other and refine their craft while building up a fanbase through gigs and social media.

They have released two singles so far : "Dream by the Dreamer" and "Runover" on 2020. You can listen to their music on all of Streaming Platforms. Currently, they are working on producing new materials for their debut album that is set to release on 2023 which will be available in physical format and as well on online streaming platforms.
